The Mind

The mind,
where the ruler is the mentor himself,
holding the key to everything.

The mind, it may be like a prudent artist,
sketching out the one-way path,
though creating junctions and crossroads,
when boredom bites.

The mind,
it may be like an unscrupulous hypnotist,
a devilish delusion,
a taste of malignity hangs in the air,
at the second when darkness prevails.

The mind,
it may be like a surreptitious spy,
unveiling one's hidden character in the dark,
digging up his murky desires,
compiling his wildness dreams.

Decoyed by innocent curiosity,
beguiled by a sinless lure.
Uncertainly extended his hands into the thick illusive mist,
where right and wrong stood a fair chance.

There,
a vague line appeared.
Between
the tiny whisper of reason,
and the ocean of blind consciousness

The choice was authorized.
Again,
plunging into a familiar abyss of déjà vu,
It's the mind's bottomless kingdom,
where flashes of the past conflicted with the present.
It is the maze of deciphering thoughts,
A task to unmask feelings,
A test of truth,
And
the ultimate verification of one's decision.

Kingdom of Heaven

Have you ever been to a place,
where wishes bloom in spring,
happiness matures in the coldest month of winter,
where miracles spark in the mournful autumn,
and peace buds in the long frustrating summer?

It's the realm I flee to,
from the robot army of "reality",
the continuous waves of confusion,
and the faithful servants of endless emotions..

Without this bogus world,
the mind is defenseless,
against the menacing idea of realism

It's a land,
where tears of angels can sing,
where laughter is a mixture of pain,
where torture is a pleasure itself,
where gods and goddesses
gather to celebrate the birth of evil,
where hell is the haven for peace

A kingdom may rise and fall,
the hearts of men
may be ruled by malicious thoughts,
the mind funded by surreptitious intentions,
where the end justifies the means.
But what lies in the core of madness,
it is a place I call it,
The Kingdom of Heaven
