Contemplating the meaning of Life........

Another monotonous day has passed..

J's song -- 전하지 못할 말 (Palace S OST) echoed in the air.... J has good vocal..her angelic voice has brought peace to my muddled mind. Below is the download link to the song :

http://sharebee.com/afe0a4ae

My good mood was destroyed when omoni and aboji kept disturbing me while I was watching Palace S. What to do? I had to stop watching and calm myself first before I create some other disaster.

I planned to upload this drama in Bww2 forum, but it would consume a lot of time. I'm now ripping the DVD and save the episodes in my external hard disc --> 120GB -- more than enough.

Cleared my room, was really messy. Took some photos of Wokiki (a present from Cheing). Cheing...just the thought of your name, endless pain ,sorrow and hatred rushed through my veins...You struck my heart with a dagger coated with venom.Thank god, my friends showed me care and love, then only the poison was extracted and removed forever. I am happy to say, the wound has stopped bleeding, but the scar will always be there. Yes, you are right, we are and will be as good as strangers.

Wokiki - the bear which brought me happiness and sadness

My friend asked me :" Joanne, is there any hope for you to be with him again?"

Looking at the dagger with blood stains, I didn't ponder for a long time, I replied :" Once bitten , twice shy. I was bitten 4 times,I believe it's more than enough."

Cheing, enough is enough. I guess that's the end of our short fate ~

It's high time to "settle" KK's gift from Bentong camp --> fern (yang chi zhi wu)...hehe! Well, the fern was so big, keeping it would be hard. Sorry KK ! I had no choice but to "dispose" it. hehe ~ But, dont worry, I took photos of your good gift -- I am honoured to be the first person to receive "grass" as present.

A good gift from KK

I have finally found the value of taking photos -- what is life if it is not recorded? Memories play an important role in the road to happiness. I planned to invest in a good camera phone^^

When can my unlucky days be gone...

Oh! Dreadful !

Life sucks after returning from the student development camp !!

Had to writeFIVE minutes of meetings...Clear my mess (secretary work)...Arrgh! I slept at 3am and woke up at 7am just to finish my SWC work...gosh. Life is bad.

Because of my "hard work", I was "blessed" with flu and cough.

Not just that...I did badly in my taxation test -- 26.5 / 50 --> which I considered REALLY bad.

Ohh...more to come...On Saturday morning, I had red eye! conjunctivitis !! Of all days, why now !!?

Because of that...I could not go to college, so, I missed my Viva! (Note: my group members did it without me ) and I seriously don't know what teacher will do about it.

Furthermore, Jennifer told me that today was the last lecture for basic taxation --> We were behind syllabus (M1 to M7). SHOOT ME! Means, I have missed the last lesson!!! Starting from tomorrow, it will be revision!!!

**...........sob............**

The word for the day --> SUCKS.

Now, let me tell you what made me feel WORSE ....

I didn't watch the delayed telecast yesterday for the race in Bahrain !!!!!!! Waaaaaaaa............
That's my DEEPEST regret for now !!! I still could not get over it...

Why am I so stupid!!! WHY????????????!!!!!!!!! I should NOT have listened to my mom's advice to SLEEP early !!!!!!!! Waaaaaa.........Now I have missed the race......

**heart shatters into a zillion pieces**

** no use patching up**

**the empty feeling will be there till the next race in Spain**

Mom, if you are reading, please, bear in mind, not to call me to sleep early when there is a race. The PAIN I experienced...was/is.................

UNBEARABLE
.

Nitey. I need to revise my taxation.

Student Development Camp (Day 2 and Day 3)

Day 2

Rise and shine!!!

Did some aerobics (somewhat like Taekwondo), nearly hurt my right knee again. Yeaks. But I didn't tell anyone. Breakfast was...ahem..cold fried rice (I think it should be hot though).

No rough activities in the morning, just some talks. Mr. Johnny conducted the talk again : Developing Positive Atttitudes and Managing Time Effectly. Well, haha, I realized I'm not good at organizing my time. Will try to improve in that matter ^^ As for attitude, thank god I've changed a lot. I used to be a pessimistic person last time. Everything that came out from my mouth would be...disasters.

After tea break, Ms. Chin Chin continued the session. Her topic was : Leaders & Stress Buster. Hmm...well, she's not really a good speaker. Honestly speaking, I was half asleep when she talked! **pai seh** Stress management, well, I'm not good too. When I'm stressed up, hehe, trust me, you better run. I'll go hysterical!

Lunch time! Too bad, I cannot remember what I've eaten. This time, I could see team work in our team. We did not wash plates individually, but rather we helped each other (divide the job). Good job, mates! Muaks!

Another session conducted by Mr Johnny after lunch --Speaking without fear. Hmmm...I personally think Penang TARCIANS should be the one listening to this talk, not the KLgnites. As for me, I wish someday I could give "effective" speeches, not those which people will end up sleeping in front of me!

A series of talks ended, continued by water activities -- built a raft and go rafting ! Four groups, divided into two teams. We were with group 7. All of us were given a specific time to finish the whole thing. Wow, I was impressed with a gal named Oga. She is really skillful. Time's up! It was time to put the raft to test! Whoompi ! Although we sorta finished the raft earlier, but...haih..well, it was not that successful. Something was wrong with the floats. We did not tie them together tight enough . Our "mission" was to raft to the other end, touch the water (from a small waterfall) , then come back. 4 trips all in all, I was in the last trip. Hoho..so damn embarrassing ! I kept shouting the wrong command! Damn it! So sorry pals! I think my brain was soaked with water! It was really a nice experience, even though we lost in the end ~

Next would be rock/wall climbing. I didn't participate, too risky for me. Haih...will try it next time ! Most gals did not reach the top, same for guys too. Guess it was not easy. You need to choose the correct rocks or else kaki sakit! Melissa from group 7 fell I think, when she was coming down. Twisted her ankle.Sad story.

I didn't join the group for dinner, helped Ming Yao to treat Melissa. Soo Qi, Kai Jia and Joo Sim too. Wow, I was impressed with Ming Yao. haha~ From that moment onwards, I knew I needed to go back and learn more! I have 0% knowledge when it comes to first aid!

As for the Turbo-charged Team Building, I joined in half way ( took care of Melissa), together with Soo Qi, Joo Sim and Kai Jia. It was fun! Team work is really important and I was happy to have Group 5 as my team mates ! High Fivers give me five! Whoompi !!

Picture taken during supper ^^

Guess what, after supper, we went back to our dorms. It was stupid to sleep, as, this was our last night together. We ran all the way to the boy's dorm. Hehe! **evil grin** Played card games, but I ended up talking to Ming Yao, Joo Sim and KK. haha. Before that, Joo Sim went out with Ming Yao. Darn! It seemed that the facilitators were on their way to check on us !! Blek! I almost hid under the bed. Darn. Then I remembered --> April Fool. arrgh ! We gals went back at 3am.

DAY 3

Ohh....day 3...Well, nothing special about this day. Didn't want to go back though. I didn't join my group for jungle trekking (so sad!). curse my stupid leg again. They had great fun, as for me, I stayed with Melissa. She slept, but I studied taxation. Useless, I read two pages, head on my pillow again ~ A powerful force forced me to sleep. Bwhwhaha ~

Time to pack up ~ I took their signature. Missed them so so so much. One group by one group, we took a jeep/truck down. Oh! Before that, we took pictures ! Have a looK!

High Five !

Oh YEah ! Let's fly !

KK, Joo Sim and me( just ignore) !

Cheese !

Ming Yao and me ~~

Me, Joo Sim, Ming Yao, Bob (behind our bus)

Joo Sim, Me, Wei Song

In the bus, before we leave. SWC forever ~

Good friends !

In a shop named "Paradise" --> near to TARC

Took 6.30pm bus back ~ reached penang at about 11.00pm. WOw! I miss you guys! Keep in touch!!

Student Development Camp (Day 0 and Day 1)

Event : Student Development Camp
Date : 30th March - 1st April 2007
Place : Dusun Eco Resort
Duration : 3 days 2 nights
Organized by :Student Affairs Dept.

As the secretary of SWC, I had the honour to attend this leadership camp. This camp was targeted to all chairpersons, secretaries & EXCO members. All societies in KL were required to send 3 representatives (chairman, secretary & EXCO member). Penang branch campus sent out 3 SWC representatives too -- Tan Kok Loong, Ng Joo Sim, and me !

We went to KL on Thursday evening, the bus left the station at 4.30pm. It was a long 4.5 hour journey, Joo Sim sat beside me. We didn't talk much, just discussed about Odyssey Night. God bless we sat in the front few seats (double decker), or else it would be a bumpy journey for us!

**bus tickets as proof**

Reached KL at about 9.00pm. My god! We had to take the heavy luggage from one place to the other! The LRT station was behind Puduraya bus terminal. We took RapidKL from Plaza Rakyat (Sentul Timur) to Masjid Jamek, which cost us RM1.20 . From there, we stopped at MCD opposite the station. Took dinner there till about 10pm. Continued journey to Wangsa Maju by taking Putra Lite from Masjid Jamek, RM2.30.

Upon reaching our last stop - Wangsa Maju, I though only TARC students will alight the train. To my surprise, many other passengers left the train too. We hailed a cab, took a ride to TARC main gate. Waited for about 5 minutes, Ee Kang arrived on a motorbike with his friend. He greeted us with a friendly smile. Gosh, KL students looked so...gentleman. Not too long later, Soo Qi and her friend, Kai Jia arrived. Wow, they sure looked mature for Year one students.

Overnight at Qi Hui's (Soo Qi's friend) place.Honestly speaking, I don't like the single - storey house. Erm, the toilet was terrible. There was this rotten egg smell, couldn't bare it ! Joo Sim and I stayed at her house while Kok Loong stayed with Song Yu and Ee Kang. Went to have a drink at mamak stall nearby which was within walking distance. Song Yu joined us later as he needed to send the gals (KJ & SQ) back to their hostel. Four of them had a pleasant chat over Community Sociology, the different management and handling of society/members in both places. Went back at 2am, chatted with Joo Sim on the bed till 4am.

The next morning, woke up in a haste, as we were late for breakfast with Ee Kang and friends. Had Ee Mee Soup (practically like Koay Teow Teng, just had Ee Mee instead of Koay Teow) for breakfast. Chatted a little, then went back to Qi Hui's place to college luggage. From there, we carried our bags to Sports Complex. Gosh! my arms..so numb, I had been carrying too many bags, all the way from Penang! Darn! The college! It was huge! Felt like I've walked for a few thousand miles before arriving at the complex ~

All participants gathered and changed into the red T-shirt provided by the college. Speech by principal (so called "lao-yi"), the MC was kinda cool. Still, I preferred OP (MC for Orientation 2006/07), who was also the ex-chairman for SWC. Got to know more friends, those participants sitting around us. Bla bla bla...Oh! Lunch time ! Didn't eat much though, no appetite.

Dusun Eco Resort, we're coming !! Sat on bus 2, with Joo Sim of course. It was an hour journey I think, kinda short. Arrived when I was about to doze off. Darn ! Waited under the shade. Thank god I took my Maxis phone along. Bad luck for Digi subscribers. Hohoho ~ Most participants had the excited looks. I could not smile much, my hands were breaking. haha~ Curse the damn bags ! Felt like I took a bag of sand there instead of shirts.Minutes later ,jeeps/trucks arrived and I was assigned to the 5th group. Hopped on and there we go !

We all stayed in dorms --> as for me, I stayed in dorm 4, together with the other gals. Girls occupied 2 rooms, same for guys. Aisyah was the dorm head, dorm key bearer( this sentence sounded awkward! )

Ice breaking was simple, but not easy! Next on the program list was Obstacle course. Gosh, could not explain how much I have missed! *sob sob* Stupid leg, you have caused me much trouble in Korea! The students' eager participation was what I've not expected. Unlike students in Penang, running and hiding behind the trees when it was their turn, KL students impressed me a lot.Probably because they are office bearers. As a leader, if you do not have the courage to even play such games, you're considered a lousy one. Boo-hoo~ (hope I'm not on the list, but I can't deny I am a little chicken!) It was fun for those who participated, for me, well, I could have done better. Anyway, don't give up JO! Come back again when you're ready! YEah! If you want to sleep in satisfaction, you need to wake up in determination! Mr. Alan, I'll be ready for the next camp! (forgive me, I didn't take my knee guard along this time!)

From left : Kai Jia, Me, Joo Sim, Soo Qi and Aisyah
Behind us was the suspension bridge (jambatan gantung)

Cool guys ! Wanna fly ? (Meng & Kim Yeong, don't be so down to earth!)
Back row from left : Meng, TJ, Woo Tong, Kim Yeong Front row from left : Cicak-man, Botak, KK, Kok Loong

Hi !! Greetings from High Fivers! Woohoo !

Muddy trip! Oh-huh! Is Bob trying to kill us?
RUUUuunnnnnnnn !!!!

To trust you or not is a big issue here!

Dinner was simple. The rule was simple too. Wash after you eat. That was it.

A talk after dinner, I thought I would end up sleeping, but Mr. Johnny proved me wrong. He was such a good speaker! Bravo! The talk was : Effective Meeting and Minutes Writing. I learned quite a lot. Hoped Loong learned something too. He's too "grassy" and wanted wear. LOL ~ (quoted from Form 4 Literature - "the road not taken" by Robert Frost)

Light out! Good nite and good bye to day 1 !!

Weird Dream

Arrgh, had a bad week. Assignments due, minutes to submit before semester exams, haven't done any effective revision, sick...

Had a weird dream last night. I dream that I had cancer, final stage. Everyone seemed to look very sad (for me), except me. In my dream, death did not bother me at all, though I know I did not want to leave this earth so soon. But miracle happened, God gave me a second chance to live on. I could hear a voice from somewhere (I didn't where it came from), saying that it was not my time yet, because I am not a true Christian (not baptized). I could not continue my path to heaven, so, God sent me back to Earth.

I felt very peaceful, even though I was on the death bed, struggling with my disease. I know how death haunts those who are ill, but not me. It was really a weird dream.
